Welcome to the FME SOLAR workshop: Materials for solar cells beyond Schockely-Queisser
In this hybrid workshop we will get an overview of the work in Norway on solar cell materials research, where the aim is to go beyond the Schockley-Queisser limit. This workshop is a collaboration between FME SOLAR and the Centre for Materials Science and Nanotechnology (SMN) at UiO. The agenda may change slightly.
Agenda:
Tandem solar cells
- 9:15 An introduction to tandem materials, Kristin Bergum (IFE)
- 9:30 Invited talk: Understanding and mitigating interface losses: towards >35% tandem PV, Sebastian Bonilla (University of Oxford)
- 10:00 Hyperspectral imaging of perovskite solar cells, Ivar Loland Råheim (NMBU)
- 10:30 Break
Oxide-based materials
- 10:45 Prospects for combinatorial materials science at UiO, Holger von Wenckstern (UiO)
- 11:00 SnWO4 for tandem solar cell applications, Ingvild Bergsbak (UiO)
