Welcome to the FME SOLAR Webinar: Recommendations for modelling PV systems in Nordic conditions

In this webinar, we will launch a website developed within FME Solar WP2 that provides recommendations for PV simulation under Nordic conditions. In addition to presenting the website, we will give an overview of the key challenges related to PV simulation in the Nordic region and present new results from PV modelling work conducted within the centre.

Agenda:

• 12:15-12:40: PV simulation challenges in the Nordics and presentation of the website “Recommendations for modelling PV systems in Nordic conditions” (Mari Øgaard, IFE/UiA)
• 12:40-13:00: Variability of solar irradiance estimations in urban solar mapping tools (Mattia Manni, NTNU)
