Energy yield assessments are essential for PV project development, but varying terrain and bifacial PV increase the complexity of the simulations. In this webinar, we compare PVsyst, PVCase, RatedPower and Climate Design Tool using a Norwegian bifacial PV plant as a case study. We look at differences in functionality and irradiance modelling, with particular focus on how the tools estimate front- and rear-side irradiance in complex terrain
